Paul is a partner in a leading edge innovation agency that helps SME clients overcome the innovation challenges that they face. He specialises in helping clients reduce the risk involved in new product development and enhance the role that business innovation plays in securing competitive advantage.

Over the last 10 years he has led or worked on over 60 successful assignments for private, public and third sector organisations. Assignments have included the conception, creation and commercialisation of new products, services and user experiences. Paul is an experienced trainer and is actively involved in helping professionals learn about the latest innovation methodologies and creative problem solving techniques.

In the last few years he has co-created a range of new innovation tools designed to help people move from being improvement focused (doing the same thing better) to being innovation focused (finding different ways of achieving better outcomes). Recent work has focused on helping clients understand how digital technology may disrupt their markets and help them develop strategies for responding positively to this.

He is easy to work with and has a consultative but results oriented style that enables him to build productive long term working relationships with both colleagues and clients. Locally Paul leads and coordinates the Oxfordshire Business First Business Innovation and Growth (BIG) Network which brings together people working in SMEs with an active interest in business innovation issues.

Outside of work Paul is a keen mountaineer and long distance cyclist who has travelled extensively.
